My mail box and phone are filled with advertisements. Ads are always annoying. Textures piled onto packaging, seductive marketing strategies, endless trends created online — all of it seems to cover up the mediocrity of the product itself.
Later, I entered the storm myself. I realized I couldn’t escape it either.

After two years of exploring language and communication, I arrived at a moment of uncertainty. Instead of searching for a clear conclusion, I began to question whether uncertainty itself could become a meaningful state of being.
Something is a direct record of this moment. The scattered symbols, lines, and fragments reflect the confusion, hesitation, and unfinished thoughts that existed during this transition. Rather than organizing them into a complete system, I chose to preserve their original uncertainty, because I believe confusion is not an absence of meaning, but one of the most honest and valuable human experiences.
The work continues my exploration of punctuation as a visual language beyond words. The red lines suggest the invisible structures and boundaries that shape communication, while the fragmented symbols exist between order and chaos. Released from their original linguistic context, they no longer deliver a fixed message, but create an open space for interpretation and personal reflection.
Something represents a moment of transition—not an answer, but a preserved state of becoming.

The sculptural and the diluted, the rendered and the gestural, the semiotic and the metaphorical
all dance in a processional cavalcade around a dot of light lost in the swirling broth.
The work presents several distinct surface treatments: atmospheric passages in pale pink,
yellow and grey; ink squabbles and brushstroke meteors, foregrounded by a white drywall
passage and delimited by a quintessential black crop.

Canvas turned inside out twice: once pictorially, where the stuff of the weave pokes out in
flesh-floral ridges and valleys, and again in a homage to painting on the flip side of the canvas.
Where does truth lie, in that which is discernibly material, or in that which is unquestionably
illusion?

An unpainted canvas mounted on the wall, with no pictorial content. The canvas is released
from its support along the left and lower edges and falls forward in a diagonal drape; a length of
bare stretcher bar is left exposed at the top right. The form is the content.
The work presents the process of deconstruction mid-act. It presents two extremities and the
moment between them, where visible, unquestionable material dissolves first into pictorial mist
and then into the white wall it hangs on.
